The firm’s Digital Law team, composed of one counsel and three associates, regularly advises a wide range of French and international clients from different business sectors on their legal issues relating to innovative technologies and digitalization.
The team’s expertise notably includes data law, IT contracts, regulations relating to innovative technologies (artificial intelligence, crypto-assets, etc.), platform law and intellectual property, in particular the management and protection of digital assets.
The team advises clients on product development with a significant technological component, drafting and negotiating contracts, structuring innovative projects and strategic technological partnerships, advising on the regulation and protection of online content, and on mergers and acquisitions involving technological issues.
The Tech Law team frequently works with the firm’s other teams (e.g. competition, corporate, tax, employment) to offer our clients cross-functional expertise in the new technologies sector (particularly in blockchain and crypto-assets).
The team works alongside the best independent law firms in each country, thus providing clients with fully integrated international teams – (see general presentation). The team is also an active member of the Best Friends Data Protection Working Group, which provides a forum for the exchange of European data protection news and practices.
