Bredin Prat advises Martin Marietta on the acquisition of Lhoist North America from Lhoist Group for USD 13.5 billion

Bredin Prat is advising Martin Marietta, a publicly listed American company and one of the leading producers of aggregates, building materials and mineral solutions in North America, on the acquisition of Lhoist North America, a subsidiary of the Belgian group Lhoist Group, a global leader in lime, dolomitic lime and mineral solutions, in a cash and stock transaction valued at USD 13.5 billion.

Completion of the transaction is expected in the second half of 2026, subject to obtaining the applicable regulatory approvals.
