The Public Law team represents its clients before all of the French administrative courts, the French supreme administrative court (Conseil d’Etat) and the French Constitutional Council (Conseil Constitutionnel). The team is regularly called upon to provide its expertise in matters involving complex, sensitive and high-stake public law issues.

The team advises on all types of administrative contentious matters: challenges to the legality of administrative decisions, contractual disputes and claims for damages. It represents its clients in litigation relating to public contracts, the responsibility of public bodies, as well as town planning. The team is also highly-reputed for its experience in pre-contractual emergency proceedings as well as in alternative dispute resolution (settlement, conciliation, mediation, arbitration), notably with regard to complex agreements. It regularly intervenes before the French Constitutional Council, whether to introduce preliminary rulings on constitutionality (questions prioritaires de constitutionnalité – QPC) or to submit interventions in the context of parliamentary appeals.

The Public Law team has inside knowledge of the French administrative court system thanks to particularly in-depth experience of Yann Aguila, as a former member of the French Conseil d’Etat.
