Bredin Prat is pleased to announce that Juliette Crouzet, head of the Digital Law – Intellectual Property practice, and Adrien Soumagne from the Tax Law team, have been appointed partners of the firm.

Juliette Crouzet has been appointed partner of the firm’s Digital Law – Intellectual Property practice which she has headed for several years.
She assists the firm’s clients on the legal issues relating to new technologies and data. She notably advises on the structuring and deployment of projects involving technology-related assets, as well as complex data protection and cybersecurity issues.
Juliette’s practice also includes intellectual property matters, assisting the firm’s clients in managing, protecting and defending their IP rights.
Her work includes both transactional matters – drafting and negotiating contracts, structuring tech partnerships, product launches, advising on the technology aspects of M&A transactions – as well as contentious matters – notably in disputes relating to data protection and defending intellectual property rights.

Prior to joining Bredin Prat, Juliette practised for four years in the Technology/IP department of an international law firm in Paris.
She has been recognised by Best Lawyers for Privacy & Data Security Law for many years and by ManagingIP® for Intellectual Property.
Juliette was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2014 and holds a Master’s Degree in the Law of e-Commerce and the Digital Economy from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and is also a graduate of EDHEC Business School.
Adrien Soumagne, a member of the firm’s Tax Law team, has been appointed partner.
His practice focuses on advising on the tax aspects of transactions, advising companies as well private equity funds.
He also assists corporate clients and individuals in connection with tax audits and inspections, as well as tax controversy and litigation matters.
Adrien also has gained particular expertise in the tax issues concerning digital assets and related activities.

He has authored several articles and lectures at the French business school HEC and at the University of Bordeaux.
He has been recognised by Best Lawyers for Tax Law in recent years.
Adrien was seconded to the New York office of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in 2024.
He was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2017 and is a graduate of the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (Master’s Degree in Business Law and Tax, 2016 – Magna Cum Laude), of the business school HEC (Grande Ecole programme, 2016 – Dean’s List) and of UNIL/HEC Lausanne (Executive Programme in Transfer Pricing, 2023).
