Bredin Prat advises the Superior Council of Notaries in connection with its exclusive negotiations with La France Mutualiste and the Malakoff Humanis group for the sale of a controlling interest in Unofi

Bredin Prat is advising the Superior Council of Notaries (le Conseil supérieur du notariat), the main shareholder of Financière Thémis, in connection with the entry into exclusive negotiations for the sale by Financière Thémis and Axa France Vie, of 85% of the capital of Unofi to La France Mutualiste and the Malakoff Humanis group. The Superior Council of Notaries would retain a 15% stake in Unofi through Financière Thémis.

The Unofi Group, with assets under management of €10.7 billion, provides wealth management advice to individuals and businesses and offers its clients a wide range of savings products.

The transaction remains subject to the legal information and consultation process with Unofi’s employee representative bodies, as well as to customary closing conditions, including the obtaining of customary regulatory and competition approvals, with a view to completion in the second half of 2025.
