The firm is delighted to be welcoming soon Frédéric Salat-Baroux as a partner to lead its Public Law team.

Frédéric Salat-Baroux advises leading public-sector undertakings and private companies, as well as investors, on their strategic public law issues, notably in connection with public-sector reorganisations and privatisations, infrastructure, sector-wide regulation (including energy, telecoms, media and transport), key public-sector contracts, dispute resolution and FDI.

Frédéric Salat-Baroux’s arrival at the firm marks a major step in the development of this team, which comprises Yann Aguila (partner), Guillaume Léonard (counsel), Pierre Todorov (senior counsel), and five associates.

This development will strengthen synergies with all of the firm’s practice groups.

Biography:

Frédéric Salat-Baroux has headed the public law and government affairs practice of the Paris office of an international law firm since 2007. He is a former member of the French Administrative Supreme Court (Conseil d’Etat), including as Commissaire du Gouvernement (independent legal officer giving impartial opinion on all cases before the court), and was Chief of Staff of the French Presidency between 2005 and 2007.

Frédéric Salat-Baroux is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris, of the business school École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris and of the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas. He is also a graduate of the high-level civil servant training institution, the École Nationale d’Administration.
