Bredin Prat advises Malteries Soufflet and its main shareholder KKR in connection with a binding “Scheme Implementation Deed” with United Malt Group

Bredin Prat is advising Malteries Soufflet (the second-largest operator in the global malt industry and a subsidiary of InVivo Group, a leading European agricultural group) and its shareholder KKR in connection with a binding Scheme Implementation Deed with United Malt Group Limited, a company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) and the fourth-largest malt producer globally, to acquire 100% of the shares of United Malt.

Malteries Soufflet’s strategic partners – KKR, Bpifrance and Crédit Agricole Group – will reinvest into the business to fund the acquisition and help accelerate the Company’s global growth plans.

Completion of the transaction is subject to obtaining the relevant regulatory approvals, as well as the approval of United Malt’s shareholders and that of the Federal Court of Australia in respect of the Scheme.
