Bredin Prat advises buyers in the sale of Flink France in court-supervised insolvency proceedings

Published on Press releases

Bredin Prat is advising Guillaume Luscan, the CEO of Flink SAS (“Flink”), and Flink SE, Flink’s German parent company, in connection with their offer to purchase Flink’s business and which includes keeping part of the workforce.

The offer made by the two buyers, together with the Algerian start-up Yassir, a company specialised in on-demand and payment services in the Middle East and Africa, was selected by the Paris Commercial Court on 12 September 2023.

Flink, one of the leaders in rapid grocery home delivery services (or “quick commerce”) declared itself insolvent in June 2023, as a result, in particular, of the fierce competition from the main players in the sector, such as Getir, Gorillas and Frichti, which have since themselves filed for bankruptcy.

The buyers’ offer enables the existing business to continue under the Flink brand in France and keep 270 employees, thanks to an investment of nearly €5.5 million by Yassir.

The Bredin Prat team advising the buyers of Flink France comprised:

  • Restructuring: Nicolas Laurent (partner), Benoît Delort and Martin Aubert
  • Employment: Laetitia Tombarello (partner) and Audrey Demourgues
  • Competition: Arthur Helfer (partner)
