Yves Rutschmann, Partner, is a member of the firm’s Tax team.
He has vast experience of handling tax audits and high-stakes tax controversies, and assists French and foreign groups on issues such as the alleged presence of a permanent establishment in France, or on matters concerning transfer pricing, difficulties in application of international tax treaties, or anti-abuse measures.
His practice includes advising clients in all stages of proceedings, whether in initial discussions and/or negotiations with the French Tax Authorities with a view to averting a tax audit, or assisting clients in the event of a dawn raid, or defending cases before the judicial and administrative courts, including on questions of constitutionality before the French Constitutional Council.
Many of his files involve issues on which he will work closely with the firm’s white-collar criminal defence team, ensuring a specialised and coordinated approach in managing these files.
He has written numerous articles on tax and is a member of the Scientific Committee of the weekly tax law journal Revue de Droit Fiscal.
