In 2021, he was appointed Vice President of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA).
In 2014, he won the prestigious Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA) Prize for Advocacy in International Commercial Arbitration on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the ASA.
