  • Marina Weiss

    • Marina Weiss, Counsel, is a member of the International Arbitration team. She advises clients in relation to commercial arbitration and investment arbitration matters. She acts as counsel in large-scale and complex arbitration proceedings under the main arbitration rules (ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC, LCIA, and AAA/ICDR). Marina advises individual and corporate clients as well as sovereign States and State entities in disputes involving a variety of economic sectors and industries, such as energy, gas and hydrocarbons, construction, telecommunications, civil aviation, agriculture, tourism, or mining, across various geographic areas, such as Western, Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Northern and Sub-Saharan Africa.

      Marina also serves as secretary to arbitral tribunals and advises clients in arbitration-related litigations and matters of sovereign immunity.

      In addition, Marina is referenced as arbitrator with various arbitral institutions and has been acting as arbitrator since 2017.

    • Academic career

      Admitted to the Paris Bar (2010), Marina is a graduate of Columbia University School of Law (LL.M., 2010), of Sciences Po Paris (Master’s degree with specialty in economic law, 2007) and of University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (Master II in law and economic globalization, 2007).
