Emerging Patterns in Women’s Legal Aid Support

Pascale Lagesse, Vice Chair of Legal Practice Division of the International Bar Association represented the IBA at the session “Emerging Patterns in Women’s Legal Aid Support” as part of the Legal Aid for Women project that the World Bank and the IBA have been working on together.

The session launched the first pilot assessment on Legal Aid for Women, spanning nine countries and offering data-driven insights for reform. It is spotlight the structural barriers women face in accessing justice and the innovative solutions making a difference.
