Company policy in the face of a criminal investigation

Should a company prepare in advance its response to potential criminal investigation procedures? The question deserves careful consideration, rather than being handled under pressure as is often the case when such investigation procedures are carried out. Although not yet mandatory, despite the many new measures imposed on companies in similar domains, and certainly not prohibited, despite the commonly held view that criminal investigation procedures are exclusively coercive measures, a company policy in this respect is appropriate. Companies that put procedures in place and inform the relevant people will find such procedures extremely helpful when the situation arises. Read more
