Bredin Prat advises UGC and certain of its existing shareholders in connection with Canal+ Group’s acquisition of a minority stake in UGC’s share capital, potentially followed by acquisition of control in 2028

Bredin Prat has advised UGC, a leading French cinema and audiovisual production group, and certain of its existing shareholders, in connection with Canal+ Group’s acquisition of a minority (34%) stake in UGC’s share capital.

This acquisition could potentially be followed by Canal+ Group acquiring control of UGC in 2028 pursuant to agreements that could result in Canal+ Group acquiring the remaining shares owned by these UGC shareholders.
