This 19th edition of the Guide, with a foreword by Marie-Anne Barbat-Layani, Chair of the French Financial Markets Authority (the AMF), and Alexandra Boucheron Baubigeat, President of the financial communication professionals association the CLIFF and Head of Group Investor Relations and Financial and Non-Financial Communications at Hermès, is divided into four parts:

  • Objectives and Stakeholders” describes issuers’ financial and non-financial communication interactions with their ecosystem, particularly market authorities and various players in the financial community;
  • General Principles” outlines the principles governing issuers’ financial and non-financial communication policies;
  • Regulatory Framework and Related Practices” provides a practical overview of the communication events and situations that mark the life of a publicly-traded company;
  • Day-to-Day Investor Relations Practices” illustrates the day-to-day realities of IR beyond the regulatory context.
