Bredin Prat is advising the founders of Juliette Has a Gun in connection with the reorganisation of its shareholding structure.

Juliette Has a Gun, a company specialised in niche perfumery and fragrances, was founded in 2006 by Romano and Antina Ricci. Over the past two years, the company has tripled its turnover, and in 2022 it generated €120 million in retail sales.

Two years after its initial investment, Cathy Capital is increasing its stake, alongside new investor Weinberg Capital Partners. The transaction will enable the brand to consolidate its presence in the United States, China and the Middle East, as well as advance development in Latin America and South East Asia.

Romano and Antina Ricci remain shareholders of the company Juliette Has a Gun and continue in their management roles.

The Bredin Prat team advising the founders of Juliette Has a Gun comprised:

  • Corporate: Kate Romain (partner), Karine Angel (counsel) and Julien Siret
  • Tax: Adrien Soumagne and Simon Weber
  • Financing: Elsa Tessier
  • Employment Law: Emilie Gatineau (counsel)
