Bredin Prat advises KKR in connection with Mediawan’s acquisition of The North Road Company

Bredin Prat is advising global investment firm KKR, a shareholder of Mediawan, a French audiovisual content production company co-founded in 2015 by Pierre-Antoine Capton, Xavier Niel and Matthieu Pigasse, in connection with Mediawan’s acquisition of The North Road Company, a US-based independent production company founded in 2022 by Peter Chernin.

The transaction, partly funded with equity, will enable Mediawan to operate nearly 100 individual production companies representing over €2 billion in annual production volume across 15 countries. The North Road Company will serve as Mediawan’s North American hub.
