  • Elsa Paparemborde

    • Elsa Paparemborde, Associate, is a member of the International Arbitration team.

      Her practice focuses on commercial and investment arbitration matters. She acts as counsel in a variety of large-scale and complex arbitration proceedings under all major arbitration rules (including in particular ICSID, ICC, LCIA, SCAI, CRCICA and UNCITRAL).

      She represents companies and States in matters involving a wide spectrum of sectors such as energy, oil and gas, construction, engineering and infrastructure, real estate, telecommunications, M&A and banking, in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

      Elsa now teaches a required Dispute Resolution course in the Master I – Economic Law program at Sciences Po Paris.

    • Professional career

      Before joining Bredin Prat, Elsa was an associate in the international arbitration team at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP in Paris for a number of years. She also previously worked in the legal department of a large investment bank and for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

    • Academic career

      Admitted to the New York Bar (2015) and to the Paris Bar (2018), Elsa is a graduate of Harvard College (B.A. in government, cum laude honors, 2010) and McGill Law School (BCL and LL.B. in civil law and common law, Dean’s List, 2014), where she was awarded the 2014 Quebec Bar Prize for excellence in studies of participative justice. She also obtained a Certificate from the International Academy for Arbitration Law in 2014.
