RECRUITING

RECRUITING

ASSOCIATES

Bredin Prat looks for highly driven and motivated applicants who are passionate about the practice of law, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team. While no specific profile is required of prospective candidates, an outstanding academic background, an excellent command of the English language and an international educational or professional background are highly regarded.

The firm encourages its associates to become (and remain) involved both in transactional work as well as litigation matters.

With the exception of tax and competition lawyers, associates are not dedicated to a specific team, and are invited to work in conjunction with all of the partners of the firm. Additionally, the firm does not separate its litigation and transaction practices so that multidisciplinary teams of lawyers may be formed for specific matters as required.

Bredin Prat regularly seconds its lawyers to various leading firms in Europe and the U.S.

Candidates should submit application letters and resumes to: collaboration@bredinprat.com.

TRAINEES/INTERNSHIPS

Internship positions are offered throughout the year, and approximately 10 to 15 trainees are with the firm at any given time.

Trainees are recruited on the basis of criteria similar to those of associates. The majority of interns selected are simultaneously enrolled in French Bar School classes.

Interns play an important role in firm life, and Bredin Prat actively promotes the continuous development of its trainees through workplace experience and frequent courses and conferences on various facets of the law.

A majority of Bredin Prat associates have previously worked as interns at the firm.

Candidates should submit application letters and resumes to: stage@bredinprat.com.
